LEGO have trotted out printed minifigure baseplates on special series like the recent German Football Team and Team GB Series. One of the things that makes the LEGO Batman Series 2 extra special is the inclusion of these exclusive baseplates with the Bat-symbol printed on them. On the flip side, we have an ad for the LEGO Batman Movie website, as well as building instructions for 4 of the slightly trickier minifigures and their accessories. It contains a handy character checklist of all 20 minifigures in one complete set. Here’s the leaflet included in each blind bag of Batman Movie Series 2.

I get mine from Rick James Bricks but if you’re in the US, you can usually get full sets from sellers on Amazon. Each blind bag costs AU$5.99 (US$4 in the US and £2.99 and €3.99 respectively). You can find them at your local toy store, or on or even on Amazon.įor large series like these, I recommend not wasting your time (and money) by just buying a full set online. With less emphasis on fringe DC villains and more slots devoted to the main characters from the movie, I can comfortable say that Series 2 is a blueprint of how to do licensed Collectible Minifigure Series right. When Series 2 was first unveiled, the entire cast of minifigures felt a lot more promising than Series 1, which didn’t quite do it for me. It's a similar story with Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight their Banshee mounts can be set up to make it look like they're soaring over jungle scenery.LEGO’s esteemed Collectible Minifigures theme returns in 2018 with a sequel to last year’s first Batman Movie Minifigure series with more characters from The LEGO Batman Movie to collect.īatman Movie Series 2 officially released in early January and like its predecessor features a whopping 20 minifigures to hunt down. This includes some of the core human cast in minifigure-form along with their lab (including an Avatar link station inside) and one of the movie's futuristic helicopters that can 'hover' on transparent Lego bricks. Much like Lego's other Avatar kits, it'll be joining the best Lego sets on shelves this October 1.Īnother fun addition is the Site 26 & RDA Samson kit. It features to-scale minifigures of the two characters (with Neytiri being noticeably taller than the Colonel), posable models of the Thanator mount and the exo suit itself, and glow-in-the-dark jungle pieces. AMP Suit Quaritch will set you back $44.99 from Lego in the US (opens in new tab) or £39.99 in the UK (opens in new tab). However, one of the coolest kits is inspired by the finale where Neytiri rides an alien panther-beast into battle against Colonel Quaritch in his robot suit. Along with more dragon-esque Banshees, these new Lego Avatar sets include a secret base in the floating Pandora mountains.
